137.Street trees and landscaping shall not conflict with sight distance standards.

138.Street trees shall maintain the following minimum clearances from existing or new facilities:

--five (5) feet minimum from any sanitary sewer, storm or water service pipe;

--ten (10) feet minimum clear from fire hydrants;

--twenty (20) feet minimum from catch basins/gutter inlets;

--twenty (20) feet minimum from street lights;

--forty (40) feet minimum from near curbline of intersecting streets.

139.Landscape plantings shall maintain a minimum of three (3) feet clear from all fire hydrants. Maintenance of this clearance is an ongoing obligation of the property owner.

140.All irrigation systems shall be provided with backflow protection conforming to state and City standards. Backflow testing results shall be submitted to Public Works prior to requesting final inspection by the City.
