a. The distribution system mains shall be looped at all locations.

b. All water lines shall be looped and valved such that the removal of any single line segment from service will not result in more than one fire hydrant being taken out of service.

c. Permanent dead-end mains upon which fire protection depends and areas of large demands on single mains will not be permitted.
